The Vault Youth Project is based at Burrin St in Carlow Town, in the old Credit Union Building.
What Do We Do?
We provide a safe space for young people to meet and avail of a wide variety of youth work programmes and opportunities, including;
- Drop In/ Youth Café
Tuesday 4:00 – 6:00pm
Wednesday 3:30 – 5:30pm
Thursday 4:00 – 5:45pm
Fridays 2:30pm-5:00pm - Teenage Summer Programmes
- Youth leadership Training
- Wide range of youth work programmes including STEM, Sow and Group, Movie Club
- Music, sport and arts based programmes for all Young People
- Specialised supports for vulnerable Young People including one to one and small group support
- Information and advice for Young People and their families
- My Unique Individuality (MUI) LGBTI+ Support Group for Young People and their Ally’s
- Music Generation School of Rock
Who Do We Work With?
Young People aged 12 – 18 years
What Can Young People Expect?
A safe, comfortable, supportive and fun environment where all young people are welcome, listened to and respected. Young People can expect to have freedom of expression and to be encouraged to ask for support when needed.
What Can Parents Expect?
The confidence that young people are supported by a team of well trained and experienced Youth Workers, Youth Support Workers, and Volunteers. The knowledge that young people will be in a safe, comfortable, fun environment.
